Summer Food Program

FREE summer meals are available for children ages 1–18 through the Clovis Municipal Schools Summer Food Program!

Meals will be served Monday–Friday from 10:00–11:30 AM, May 26 through July 31, at multiple locations across Clovis.

Grab & Go meals are available at the following sites:

Arts Academy at Bella Vista

Clovis Community College

Clovis High School

Doc Stewart Park (CAFB)

Highland Elementary School

Homestead Site

iAcademy

KKR Park- Texico

La Casita Elementary School

Lockwood Early Childhood Center

Marshall 6th Grade Academy

Mesa Elementary School

Parkview Elementary School

Sandia Elementary School

Yucca Middle School

Children must be present and in line to receive meals.

**NOTE: In the event of inclement weather conditions, all Summer Food meals will be served at Clovis High School, Yucca Middle School, and Marshall 6th Grade Academy only. Families may pick up meals at the back cafeteria entrance at each location.

Skyward will be replaced by Synergy

Clovis Municipal Schools will transition from Skyward to Synergy this summer. Information on how to set up your account in the new system will come soon. Returning student registration will be available in the new system in July.

Top 3 District Highlights from Social Media

Clovis High School and Early College High School Seniors brought earned over $50k in local scholarships.

Clovis Municipal Schools honored retiring teachers and staff.

Our first Elementary Youth Program district-wide track meet was a great success! Over 300 students from across our elementary campuses competed in softball throw, broad jump, 50M, 100M, 200M, and 400M.

Barry STEAM Academy Receives National Recognition from Project Lead The Way for Excellence in CareerConnected Learning

Barry STEAM Academy has been recognized as a 2025-26 Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Distinguished School. It is among a select group of elementary schools across the U.S. to receive this honor for its commitment to increasing student access, engagement, and achievement in career-connected learning through PLTW Launch, an elementary STEM curriculum.

Clovis Municipal Schools Names Cory Gropp as Athletics Director

Clovis Municipal Schools is proud to announce the hiring of Cory Gropp as the district’s new Athletics Director. As Athletics Director, Gropp will oversee district athletic programs, support coaches and student-athletes, and continue building a culture of excellence across Clovis Municipal Schools athletics.

Leslie Barajas Named Principal of Yucca Middle School

Clovis Municipal Schools is proud to announce Leslie Barajas as the new principal of Yucca Middle School.

Barajas brings more than a decade of educational experience and a strong background in instructional leadership, student support, family engagement, and campus culture development. She has served Clovis Municipal Schools since 2018, most recently as a Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) at Yucca Middle School.
