The Student Nutrition Department will provide free Spring Break advance meals for CMS students. Meal pickup will be available on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM from the following locations: The Arts Academy at Bella Vista, iAcademy (1400 Cameo), Lockwood Early Childhood Center, Yucca Middle School, Zia Elementary, and Clovis High School (at the old bus loop at the corner of Purdue and Thornton). |

Free Summer Reading Program |
Clovis Municipal Schools will be offering a free Summer Reading Program from June 1-26 at Highland Elementary School from 8 AM - 12 PM. Students will work on math and reading skills in small groups with a trained teacher. Open to students who will have completed kindergarten through seventh grade. Breakfast, snacks, and lunch are provided. |

Bilingual Program Applications Open | |
|
Clovis Municipal Schools Bilingual Education Program Questionnaire is now open. If you are interested in the Bilingual Program or want your child to continue in the program, you must complete the questionnaire. Students in 5th, 6th, 8th, and 9th grade must complete the form for next year. Enrollment space is limited. Contact Santi.Gutierrez@clovis-schools.org if you have questions. |

Clovis Municipal Schools is celebrating the success of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) students from Yucca Middle School, W. D. Gattis Middle School, and Clovis High School following regional competitions held at Eastern New Mexico University on Feb. 10, 2026. Across all three campuses, 100 percent of participating students qualified for the FCCLA State Conference, scheduled March 29 through April 1, 2026, in Albuquerque. |

Clovis Municipal Schools Demonstrates Excellence and Growth in NMPED Focused Monitoring Visit |
| On Jan. 21-22, 2026, Clovis Municipal Schools participated in a Focused Monitoring Visit conducted by the New Mexico Public Education Department, the state’s education agency. The visit served as an important benchmark for the district’s commitment to transparency, continuous improvement and educational excellence.
The review focused on the Language, Culture and At-Risk Services department and the district’s English Learner and Bilingual programs. Over two days, state officials examined student growth data, program implementation and instructional systems designed to ensure equitable access and academic success. |
